Hi, I’m Wayne, founder of Military K9 Training & Behaviour, based in Oakham, Rutland. With 18 years of experience as a British Army dog handler and trainer, and the last 4 years working with the public, I bring a no-nonsense, results driven approach to dog training that’s grounded in real-world experience.

I’ve worked across the globe on operational deployments, training and handling dogs alongside American law enforcement, U.S. Special Forces, and our own elite Special Boat Service. Today, I use that same level of discipline, structure, and understanding to help dog owners build lasting relationships with their dogs.

Whether you need 1:1 coaching, group sessions, behaviour modification for reactivity or aggression, or want to explore scent work and tracking, I offer a balanced training approach that focuses on fulfilment, structure, and building true communication between dog and owner. My goal? To turn every client into a mini dog trainer, confident, capable, and in control.
